This textbook "thermal engineering" is compiled according to the approved detailed outline for full-time students, working at the Technical Universities.
The content of the curriculum consists of 2 parts: Part 1 is Thermodynamics Engineering, by PTS. Hoang Ngoc co-compiled. This section consists of 7 chapters, which present the concepts, general laws of thermodynamics and its application to the investigation of thermodynamic processes and cycles.
The second part is heat transfer and the appendix, this part by PTS. Edited by Nguyen Bon. This section consists of 5 chapters, which present the basic concepts and laws of heat-exchange methods and their applications for exploring complex heat-exchange processes in heat-exchange equipment. The appendix introduces the physical properties tables of substances commonly encountered in the heat calculation for actual heat exchangers and processes.
Applied exercises of this course, students can refer to the book "Thermal engineering exercises" by the same author or by other domestic and foreign authors.
This course can also be used as study material for college engineering students or as reference material for technical staff of the relevant disciplines.
